HEAD COACH - JERRY ADAMS begins his 14th year as Head Coach of the Sharks.  He began coaching SSC in 1991.  Before being named Head Coach, Jerry served as an age-group and senior coach.  As the coach of two-time Olympian - George Gleason, Jerry was the 2004 Virgin Islands Olympic Swim Coach at the Athens Olympics.  Jerry began his coaching career at Knolls and Leatherstocking Swim Clubs.  Jerry Coached the Shenendehowa boys for two seasons - and also led the Shen girls team to six Section 2 championships and one NY State Championship in his seven years as head Coach.  Jerry serves the Adirondack LSC as the Technical Planning chair.  Jerry swam and graduated from Shenendehowa High School and Springfield College.  Jerry lives in Clifton Park.

 

ALICIA FAUCETT  coaches our Pre-competitive and Group 1 swimmers.  Alicia is a former Schenectady Swim Club Swimmer, Burnt Hills Girls Varsity swimmer and worked as a swim coach for the Woodlin Club for 7 years. Alicia graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts and completed her Masters in 2004. She is currently employed by the Schenectady City School District as a middle and high school Art Teacher. Alicia resides in Scotia.

LAUREN TULLOCK-CLEWORTH coaches our Pre-competitive and Group 2 swimmers.  Lauren graduated from Burnt Hills where she lettered for 5 years on the varsity swim team. She was captain her senior year. While attending Hartwick College, She was a member of the swim team for 1 year and the basketball team for 3 years. Lauren graduated in 1989 with a BA in Biology and Spanish. She and her husband Tim have two children, Madeline and Calvin and reside in Schenectady.

RIDGELY HARRISON is our Bronze group coach.  Ridgely is a graduate of Union College. At Union he was a school record-holder and an All-American in the sprint events.  Ridgely lives in Schenectady and works at Union College for the college's Annual Fund.  Ridgely was formerly an assistant coach at his Alma Mater where he still volunteers. 

RACHEL ESTERLY is our Group 3 coach.  She is a former Schenectady Swim Club captain who graduated from Shenendehowa High School and SUNY Geneseo.  Rachel is a former SSC and Shenendehowa record holder, and while at Geneseo, was a 2 time team captain.  She holds a masters degree in school counseling from The College of Saint Rose.  Rachel is a counselor in the Schodack School District.  Rachel has also coached for the Knolls Swim Club and works the Union College Swim Camp in the summer.  Rachel resides in Schenectady.

KRISTIN ZEBROWSKI is an assistant coach at our Skidmore site.  Kristen works primarily with the younger swimmers.  Kristen graduated from Niskayuna High School an is a Junior at Skidmore College.  At Skidmore, Kristen is a College record holder in the distance freestyle. 

DOUG MARX  Doug is a 1994 graduate of Burnt Hills where he swam on the varsity team for 4 years, and was a Varsity runner.   While at Ithaca College, Doug competed with the Bombers Swim Team. He has been an assistant coach with the Burnt Hills Girls Varsity swim team and has coached age group swimming for the Southern Saratoga YMCA. Doug has studied exercise physiology and has completed the Albany State University Masters program in Secondary Education in the fields of Science and Social Studies. Doug teaches at Shaker High School and resides in Schenectady.
